Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Central Bank of Uzbekistan with the head of the department of operations in Southern and Eastern countries of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), Martin Saladin.

During the dialogue, issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation were discussed within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed between the Central Bank of Uzbekistan and SECO. 

The focus was on initiating joint research projects in the areas of monetary policy, statistics and research, as well as improving financial inclusion through the central bank capacity building programme.

The meeting participants also exchanged views on new directions aimed at further improving the qualifications of Central Bank employees.
