Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Central Asian Fintech Association.
The memorandum was signed during the Cyber Security Summit 2024, held in Tashkent.
This agreement aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation, including the exchange of information and experiences related to cybersecurity incidents and threats in the banking and payments sectors. It also includes provisions for organizing and participating in industry conferences and seminars.
The Central Asian Fintech Association is a regional organization established to promote innovation in financial technologies, facilitate the integration of digital solutions into the financial sector, and enhance financial inclusivity in Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries.
