Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The "Central Asian Microfinance Summit-2024," themed "Boundless Support for Small Business: Returning to Roots," will be held in Samarkand on 19-20 September 2024.
According to the Central Bank’s press service, the event is expected to attract over 200 participants, including representatives from Central Asian central banks, leading development financial institutions operating in the region, associations, microfinance organizations, the Microfinance Center (MFC), program managers, fintech organizations, investors, and other experts.
The summit will feature sessions on the following topics:
- Green microfinance products and adaptation to climate change;
- Implementation of ESG standards;
- MSME financing;
- Adoption of Islamic finance;
- Digitalization and fintech;
- Support for women’s entrepreneurship.
