The forum titled “Accesses to medical and social services while in jails and after release. Problems and solutions” gathered representatives of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkmenistan.

The forum participants will discuss issues of infectious deceases’ rates in jails, drug use precautions and preventive measures in jails during the three-day event.

The forum is organized by the Kyrgyz Justice Ministry under the Dostup (Accesses) project, sponsored by the Netherlands Foreign Ministry. The project is implemented by the AIDS-fund East-West and other international organizations.
