CBU revokes license of Mehribon credit union

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Namangan-based Mehribon credit union stopped its activity, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan said. The bank said it revoked the license of the union as it did not implemented requirements of the Uzbekistan.

The Board of Central Bank of Uzbekistan adopted resolution on 17 October 2009 to withdraw license of Mehribon credit union.

The credit union did not meet the requirenments of the Law “On credit unions” and Law “On licensed types of activities”, as well as orders of the Central Bank.
