The regulator said that the Board of the Central Bank adopted the decision on keeping the refinancing rate at 9% APR.
The Central Bank said that the decision was adopted based on tasks, determined in main direction of monetary policy for 2016, including dynamics of current inflation rate and its projected figures, as well as forecast of macroeconomic parameters.
The refinance rate was set at 9% APR on 1 January 2015. The Central Bank decreased its refinancing rate from 10% to 9% on that day.
