Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Central Bank of Uzbekistan hosted the first meeting with the Mastercard delegation, within the framework of joint memorandum.

At the meeting, preliminary results of joint research in the areas of "Cybersecurity" and "Support for small and medium-sized businesses" were presented. In addition, the company's experts presented recommendations on expanding cashless payments and increasing the level of cybersecurity, developed based on their findings.

During the dialogue, the parties also expressed interest in holding joint educational events aimed at improving skills of banking specialists and financial literacy of the population in various areas.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue joint work on the issues discussed.
