Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Central Bank of Uzbekistan with the participation of representatives of the International Islamic Trade and Finance Corporation (ITFC).

During the meeting, the guests got acquainted with the current monetary policy, statistics of the external sector, as well as the country's banking sector.

During the conversation, special attention was paid to the prospects for expanding projects aimed at developing private entrepreneurship.

The International Islamic Trade and Finance Corporation (ITFC) is a member of the Islamic Development Bank Group. The decision to establish this organization was made in June 2005. In this way, the International Islamic Trade and Finance Corporation consolidated all trade finance operations that were previously the responsibility of various entities in the Islamic Development Bank group.
