CBU denies reports on suspension of currency conversion

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan officially denied reports of some mass media on suspension of conversion of foreign currency in Uzbekistan.

The press service of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan stated that the procedure with conversion of national currency to foreign currency are conducted by commercial banks in established order in line with obligation on article VIII of the Articles of Agreement of the International Monetary Fund.
