Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 8-10 February 2023, negotiations were held in Termez between delegations of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari, Sogdiana Trans, and the Afghan Railway Administration on further cooperation.

During the meeting, an agreement was reached and a new protocol was signed between the Administration of the Railways of Afghanistan and the State Enterprise "Sogdiana Trans" on the continuation of the operation of the "Hairatan - Mazar-i-Sharif" railway.

At the same time, according to the agreement of the parties, from 10 February, the delivery of wagons sent to Afghanistan to the Hairaton station by a subsidiary of Sogdiana Trans was resumed.

As a result of the negotiations, a protocol on the agreements reached was signed, the information and analytical media center reports.
