Today, CAIPS is the leading specialised international exhibition in Central Asia for specialists in the fields of security, protection and fire safety.

Traditionally, CAIPS presents new products, which make a favourable impression on the security industry professionals who visit the event.

One of the new products at the forthcoming exhibition will be the ZEBRA-30/60 single position perimeter signalling device, which will be presented by Okhrannaya Technika (Security Technology). The main advantage of the device is its ease of setup, combined with high functionality and numerous capabilities. The new signalling device is designed to protect perimeter sectors, open and closed areas, warehouses, tunnels, entry points and more. The ZEBRA-30/60 uses intelligent algorithms for signal processing, and offers improved interference resistance to external meteorological factors compared with other devices. The device is also able to separate a detection zone into 12 sub-zones. Other advantages of the device include functions such as ‘Antimasking’, ‘Autocontrol’ and ‘Remote Control Operation’.

At CAIPS 2010, VERS (VostokElectroRadioService) will present systems and devices developed in its own design office. The list of products includes: Verba integrated control and security systems; an automatic smoke protection control system; fire safety and security control units for protecting small and medium-sized facilities against intrusion and fire; alarm system organisation; control by technological equipment; and automatic fire extinguishing devices. Another new product from VERS is the VERS-PK-2/4/8 TRIO device, which performs the functions of protection from intrusion and/or fire, and transmits information about the state of a facility, in real-time, to a user and/or special console in the form of voice communications using GSM-telephone and wireline telephone networks. This device is expected to receive a lot of attention from industry professionals.

A newcomer to the exhibition, Ukraine’s Arton, a developer and manufacturer of fire alarms, intends to compete with companies operating in the fire safety sector. At its stand, the company will demonstrate a wide range of fire detectors, control units, interfaces and accessories. It is expected that there will be a lot of interest in the company’s unique fire alarms, in particular the SP-2 two-point smoke series (for separated spaces).

The organisers of CAIPS have noted that, this year, every participating company is preparing for the exhibition with great thoroughness, because the face-to-face communication and constructive business environment of the exhibition allow companies to fully take advantage of every opportunity to promote their products to the Central Asian safety and security market.
