Business Council of Uzbekistan and Iran to be established
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Davron Vakhabov, held a meeting with the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Mining, and Agriculture of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Samad Hasanzadeh.
The negotiations focused on further developing economic cooperation between the two countries, expanding mutual trade and economic activities, and implementing new joint projects.
The parties reached an agreement to establish a Business Council of Uzbekistan and Iran, with the aim of regularly developing business ties and facilitating the resolution of issues between entrepreneurs from both nations.
During the discussions, Uzbek entrepreneurs were invited to participate in the IRAN EXPO 2025 exhibition, which will be held in Tehran from 28 April to 2 May.
Additionally, special attention was given to the preparation and high-level organization of the Made in Uzbekistan exhibition, scheduled for 10–12 May in Tehran.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed firm confidence in further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.
