The event has been organized by the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan. It was dedicated to the issues of further expanding Uzbek-Indian trade-economic and investment cooperation.

Representatives of ministries, departments, firms and companies of two countries, working in such sectors as trade, investment, IT and telecommunication, pharmaceuticals, tourism, food and textile industries, as well as other sectors participated at the event.

The forum participants exchanged opinion on economic potential and opportunities of Uzbekistan and India, attracting Indian companies to privatization in Uzbekistan, implementing joint projects at Navoi free industrial-economic zone.

After the business forum, the businesses of two states participated at the cooperation exchange.
