Business circles of Germany to visit Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A delegation of business circles of Germany will pay a visit to Uzbekistan on 24 June 2011, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan said.
The German delegation is led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Economics, Labour and Transport of Lower Saxony Jörg Bode.
Within the visit, it is planned to hold a cooperation exchange among business circles of two states. It is expected that over 50 small and medium businesses will attend the event.
Germany is one of key partners of Uzbekistan in Europe. Trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Germany grew by 18.3% to US$124 million in the first quarter of 2011. Share of Germany in foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan made up 2.2%.
