The Business Activity Index made up 60.1 points in September 2011, the committee recalled.

The forecast for November 2011 makes up 65.4 points, which says about restrained optimistic mood of the businesses.

The committee noted that current Business Activity Index means favourable trend as it is higher than 50 points and positive dynamic says about the growth of business activity.

The growth was recorded in such sectors as agriculture and water management, production of consumer goods, capital construction and construction industry, healthcare and information technologies.

Business Activity Index in industry sector (APIC 100) was developed in June 2010 and calculated based on survey of 100 large and medium businesses. The APIC 100 replaced the Index APIC 50 (based on survey of 50 enterprises).

The index is calculated based on 5 basic indicators, such as new orders, production volume and realization, employment and ready products at warehouse.
