Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Busaiteen coach Abdulaziz Ameen is targeting a victory against Neftchi to stay on course for a place in the knockout stage of the AFC Cup when two sides meet in a Group A clash.

The Bahrain side are top of the standings with seven points from three games while Neftchi are three behind in third place.

"The game against Neftchi will be very hard for both teams," said Ameen.

"Our players can win the game but they should put all their effort into getting this victory."

Neftchi coach Yuriy Sarkisyan believes his side are in for a tough challenge against Busaiteen as they look to keep their own qualification hopes alive.

"We had a tough match in Uzbekistan although we played well and had a lot of chances to score," said Sarkisyan.

In the other game in the group, Lebanon champions Al Ahed travel to Yemen to take on Al Tilal at Ali Mohsen Al Muraisi Stadium.

In Group B, Safa tackle Al Hilal of Yemen looking to maintain their 100% record in the tournament.

Al Hilal need a win to keep their chances of reaching the second round alive as new coach Jayab Bashafaei looks for his first victory in the tournament.

In the other group game, Al Zawraa coach Yahya Alwan insists his side will not be happy with anything less than three points when they travel to Oman to face Al Suwaiq.

In Group C, Al Arabi coach Ahmed Khalaf has a crippling injury list to contend with ahead of their game with Al Mabarrah at Beirut Sports City.

Mohamad Jarragh is suspended after being sent off in the previous game while Ali Maqseed and Abdulaziz Fadel are both injured for the Kuwaitis.

Iraq league champions Arbil are looking to get their campaign back on track against Oman’s Al Orouba in the group’s other game in Jordan.

In Group D, Al Kuwait coach Laurent Banide’s sole focus is now the AFC Cup after his side’s title challenge in their domestic league came to an end.

The former Kuwait League champions host Mohun Bagan at Al Kuwait Stadium.

In the group’s other game, Al Wehdat coach Akram Salman knows his side must defeat Al Karama of Syria to keep their AFC Cup hopes alive.

"The game against Al Karama will be very hard and we must win in order to have a chance to qualify to the next stage," he said.

Finally, in Group E, Dempo coach Armando Colaco is without both first-choice strikers for his side’s game against Al Muharraq.

Nigerian striker Ranty Martins and Brazilian Roberto Mendes are both out after picking up their second bookings of the group stage.

Meanwhile, Syria’s Al Maged will host two-time AFC Cup champions Al Faisaly at Al Abbassyien Stadium with the Jordanian side still looking for their first win in the group.
