Tashkent club finished on the fourth place and had to participate in qualification round of the AFC Champions League.

The winner of the match between Bunyodkor and Al Jazira will book berth in the group stage of AFC Champions League.

The winner will play in Group A of the AFC Champions League, which also includes Nassr (Saudi Arabia), Lekhwiya (Qatar) and Persepolis (Iran).

Bunyodkor coach Sergey Lushan said that the club will try to break unpleasant tradition in line with which Uzbek clubs cannot advance to the group stage from qualification round.

He said that the players should overcome nervousness as early as possible. He said that the team can beat any side if they realize their tasks. Lushan said that the team will show good performance and defeat the opponents.

Al Jazira coach Eric Gerets said that it will be interesting and difficult game. He said that the UAE side will try to achieve good result.

He noted that he studied Bunyodkor and he has enough information to study opponents. The team will play for win, he added.
