Bunyodkor defeated Metallurg 3-1 and Pakhtakor overcame Neftchi 1-0 as they prepare for their third AFC Champions League group matches to be played in the first week of April.

Anvar Soliev, Shavkat Salomov and Kamoliddin Murzaev were on target for Bunyodkor while Ivan Nagaev reduced the deficit for Metallurg. Pakhtakor’s winning goal was scored by Kakhi Makharadze.

Both Bunyodkor and Pakhtakor are placed third in their respective ACL groups with one point. Bunyodkor will face Iran’s Persepolis on April 5 at home while Pakhtakor will face Iran’s Esteghlal the next day.

AFC Cup Group A leaders Nasaf got the better of Almalyk, thanks to a brace from Artur Gevorkyan.

Alexander Vostrikov scored Almalyk’s only goal. Nasaf will meet India’s Dempo in the third game on April 12.

Shurtan, who will face defending champions Syria’s Al Ittihad at home in the AFC Cup on April 13, were held goalless by Navabahor.
