Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A magnitude 3.8 earthquake occurred in the Jondor district of Bukhara Region on 22 May, according to the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring.

The underground tremors were recorded at 10:15:23 local time. The epicenter was located in the Jondor district of Bukhara Region at a depth of 15 kilometers, with coordinates of 40.24° north latitude and 63.13° east longitude.

The strength of the tremors across Uzbekistan was reported as 2–3 points in the city of Gazli, 2 points in Peshkun district, and 2 points in Karakul district.

The distance from the epicenter to the capital, Tashkent, was 525 kilometers in a south-western direction.
