Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Some 20 new buses from the Chinese manufacturer Zhang Tong arrived in Bukhara.

According to the press service of the local administration, from 5 December these vehicles will be used on city routes.

For the purchase of these buses, city transport has been allocated loan funds in the amount of US$1.3 million. Each bus is designed to transport 30 passengers.

The bus interior is equipped with heating and cooling systems, providing comfortable service for passengers throughout the year.

Facilities for boarding and disembarking passengers with disabilities were created, sun protection films were installed on the windows, and a system for counting the number of passengers in the cabin was installed.

According to the Bukhara administration, negotiations are currently underway on the purchase of another 80 similar buses for the region until July 2024.
