The seminar was organized by the State Committee on developing of tourism of Uzbekistan and Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA).
The event was organized within the project “Training directed at improving skills in hotel activities”, which was aimed at improving skills of hotel works in Uzbekistan.
Within the framework of the project, the courses for managers of hotels, administrators, cooks, waiters-bartenders and maids were organized.
Over 120 people, working in hotels of Bukhara, teachers of the Faculty of Tourism of Bukhara State University and the College of Tourism of Bukhara participated in the training course.
Training participants familiarized with the experience of Turkey in the field of tourism and receive theoretical and practical skills on managing hotels and developing tourism.
The first training workshop was organized in Tashkent in 2013, which was attended by more than 100 hotel workers from various regions of the republic. In 2016, a similar program was organized in the city of Samarkand.
