Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Bukhara College of Oil and Gas Industry has joined the educational ecosystem of Gazprom Neft’s College League and will train skilled workers according to unified technological standards with Russia. The announcement was made by Gazprom Neft’s Corporate University following the "Energy to Teach" conference in St. Petersburg.

Founded in 1974, the Bukhara-based college has become the first international member of the League. According to Ilya Dementyev, rector of Gazprom Neft’s Corporate University, the partnership will enhance educational programs and foster experience exchange between Russian and Uzbek specialists. The company has already invested 250 million rubles in developing infrastructure, opening laboratories, and establishing training centers in partner colleges.

The College League comprises 20 educational institutions across 10 regions, training over 3,000 students in 20 oil and gas specialties. Graduates of the program receive priority employment opportunities with industrial partners.

Bukhara College Director Safar Usmonov emphasized that collaboration with major companies enables students to master new technologies. "Our graduates are already working in Gazprom Neft’s divisions, and I am confident that further cooperation will yield excellent results," he stated.
