Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Despite the winter cold, Bukhara almonds have begun to bloom in the Yukori Tupalang National Nature Park, under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change.

The Yukori Tupalang National Nature Park was established on 4 March 2022, in the Sariosiya district of Surkhandarya region. The park's flora includes 667 plant species, 36 of which are listed in the Red Book of Uzbekistan.

Additionally, the mountainous and foothill areas of the region are home to perennial, wild, and medicinal plants.
