Budget deficit in Uzbekistan expected at 1% to GDP in 2014
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
The limit size of the deficit of the State budget of Uzbekistan for 2014 set at the level of 1% to the gross domestic product (GDP).
The size of the budget deficit is set with the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov “On forecast of main macroeconomic figures and parameters of State Budget of Uzbekistan for 2014” from 25 December 2013.
According to the resolution, the deficit of the state budget will be financed due to free balance of the state budget for the beginning of 2014 and other non-inflation sources in line with the legislation of Uzbekistan.
