Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan with the Chairman of the Board of ICBC Standard Bank Vladimir Guber, Dunyo news agency reported.

During the negotiations, the British side was informed about Uzbekistan’s policy of actively attracting foreign investment in economic sectors and further increasing export volumes.

Vladimir Guber highly appreciated the reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan and expressed interest in attracting foreign investment in network projects, as well as in export financing, privatization of the state share in the banks of the republic, and implementation of joint events.

At the end of the meeting, it was decided to work out the participation of the delegation of ICBC Standard Bank at the III Tashkent International Investment Forum, which will be held on 2-3 May.

The head office of ICBC Standard Bank is located in London. The bank operates in such areas as the mining industry, the stock market, export financing, and issuing bonds on foreign markets.
