The project is directed at preventing breast cancer, its early diagnosis, its treatment and rehabilitation of women with breast cancer.

The project is organized by “In the Name of Life” National Breast Cancer Association, Women’s Council and Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.

In each region, experience doctors will examine women for free of charge. Women will also participate in poll on assessing their awareness on the disease.

The organizers said that the diagnosis of women will be conducted in Tashkent on 15-20 October 2012.

In last four years, some 17,000 women across Uzbekistan undergo breast cancer diagnosis.
