Welber Barral in interview to Jahon news agency said that the delegation held meetings at the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Management, Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and exchanged opinion on further development of relations between Uzbekistan and Brazil.

He said that during the meetings, the sides considered issues of deepening and expanding cooperation in many spheres, including trade-economic directions, which could be beneficial for both sides.

Brazilian official said that current level of trade-economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Brazil does not meet real opportunities and potentials of two states. He said the sides could develop cooperation in tourism, education and agriculture.

"This is my first visit to Uzbekistan. Along with official meetings I had chance to visit sights in Tashkent and Samarkand, which impressed me. I plan to come to your country again in the future as a tourist to get acquainted with cultural historical and spiritual heritage of Uzbek people," he concluded.
