Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Two bloggers illegally entered Zaamin National Nature Park and carried out photo and video recordings of the local flora and fauna without the required permits. They are now required to pay a fine of nearly 10 million soums.

The incident occurred in the specially protected area of the Urklysay Reserve. The videos showcasing the park’s plant and animal life were published on social media, the press service of the Jizzakh Regional Ecology Department reported.

Such actions violate established rules for protecting natural areas and environmental safety standards.

Eco-inspectors of the national park promptly responded to the violation and held the offenders accountable.

Under Article 82-1 of the Administrative Code, which regulates breaches of protected area regimes, the bloggers were fined 9.06 million soums.

The administration of Zaamin National Park urges all citizens to strictly follow the rules for visiting protected zones, refrain from illegal entry, avoid damaging natural objects, and obtain permission before conducting photo or video recording. Non-compliance will result in strict legal consequences.
