Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Midfielder Stephanie Al Naber’s four goals propelled Jordan to an emphatic 9-0 victory over Maldives in the AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers on Wednesday.

Stephanie, who scored a brace in the team’s opening day 7-1 rout of Kyrgyzstan, joined the goal feast after Abeer Al Nahar and Maysa Jbarah, who was on target twice in the opener, made it 4-0 with two goals each before the half-time.

The 21-year-old first bulged the net in the 52nd minute and at the stroke of the hour mark while Abeer completed her hat-trick seven minutes later. Stephanie scored the team’s eighth from the spot in the 71st minute and completed the rout in the stoppage time.

In another match, Nargiza Abdurasulova once again netted a hat-trick to guide Uzbekistan to a 5-0 win over Palestine.

Abdurasulova, who scored thrice in their similar 5-0 victory over Maldives in the opener, opened her side’s account in the 10th minute and doubled the advantage four minutes later. She netted her third five minutes from time after Makhliyo Sarikova and Kseniya Senina’s strikes had given them a 4-0 lead.

Jordan will face Palestine on May 1 while Uzbekistan will take on Kyrgyzstan on the same day.
