Best Soft Uzbekistan has been organized for the seventh time and it demonstrates achievements of software industry of Uzbekistan, designed for businesses, state bodies and population.

The event is organized by Association of Enterprises and Organizations of Information Technologies of Uzbekistan. Committee for information and communication technologies of Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, Coordination Council on development of computerization and information-communication technologies of the Cabinet of Ministers and State Committee on communication, informatization and telecommunication technologies of Uzbekistan.

The forum-exhibition takes place at Uzexpocenter. The event is attended by private and international companies, state bodies. They will present reports on introduction of ICT in their activities, development of interactive state services, etc.

The forum of software attracted leading specialists in development and introduction of software. Experts will present latest achievements in the area and share their experience.

The forum is conducted in three sections – Concept of e-government: international experience, Concept of e-government of Uzbekistan: development and introduction of interactive state services, and trends and perspective of software industry.

The forum is aimed at familiarizing with latest development in software industry, exchanging experience among specialists of software industry, forming e-government, developing recommendations for development of industry, training of IT-specialists, etc.

During the two day, the forum participants will discuss international experience in e-government, legal framework for introduction of e-government, introduction of interactive services, and other issues.

The software exhibition presents latest projects of local software industry, presented by IT companies, developers and integrators, content-developers and service providers.

This year, the exhibition is attended by over 60 companies, which presented over 120 software products. Last year, the event was attended by 40 companies with 80 software products.

The exhibition included various seminars and roundtables dedicated to development of software market in Uzbekistan, protection of copyrights in internet and others.

The winners of national software contest were also awarded within the exhibition. The winners were determined in such nominations as the Best introduced IT project of 2012, the Best company in IT-education, the Best innovative company and the Best project of state body, etc.
