Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Georgia were included in the list of 34 selected countries, economic cooperation with which the German government will especially encourage through preferential investment guarantees.

It is expected that German businesses, with their growing hopes in Central Asia, will be more willing to provide funds for Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, as Berlin will insure the companies’ private investments.

As of June 2023, Berlin has insured investment projects worth 30 billion euros in this way.
