Member states of the Eurasian Economic Community [EurAsEC, comprising Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan] begin the formation of a real customs union, Belarusian Prime Minister Syarhey Sidorski said at the meeting in Minsk with the EurAsEC secretary-general, Tair Mansurov.
The meeting took place ahead of a Moscow session of the EurAsEC Interstate Council at the level of the heads of government. The prime minister stressed that Belarus has always actively supported the decisions on the creation of a single customs space within the EurAsEC framework.
The formation of the regulatory and legal framework will make it possible to boost exports among the community member states.
