A delegation of Belarus led by country’s Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov held negotiations in several Uzbek companies and associations, UzA reported.

The delegation held negotiations with officials of Uzbektourism national holding company and the sides noted that cooperation between countries is developing, including in tourism sector.

The sided said unique historic monument and natural resources of Uzbekistan attracts tourists from all countries, including Belarus. The sides noted need to further strengthen relation beteen tourism companies of the countries.

The Belarus delegation also met representatives of Uzbekneftegaz, Uzfarmsanoat, Almalyk Mining and Smelting Combine, Association of Edible Oil and Food Industry, Uzeltehsanoat, Uzbek Commodity Exchange and Tashkent city administration to discuss expansion of cooperation.

Within the framework, the agreements between Uzbekistan and Belarus on creation of joint interstate commission on bilateral cooperation, on cooperation and mutual aid in tax legislation, as well as cooperation between Science Academy of Uzbekistan and National Academy of Science of Belarus.
