Belarus’ Amkodor opens subsidiary in Tashkent city
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Amkodor, Belarusian holding company, opened its subsidiary enterprise in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, the press service of the company said.

Amkodor-Tashkent is a 100%-owned enterprise of Belarusian firm and will represent interests of the holding in Uzbekistan.

Newly created enterprise will realize road construction, communal and other special equipment of Amkodor, warranty and post-warranty services, supply of spare parts and components. Amkodor-Tashkent will participate in exhibitions, presentations and seminars in Uzbekistan. The Belarusian company said it will supply first equipment in November.

Amkodor said that it decided to open Amkodor-Tashkent due to growing demand for equipment in Uzbekistan as agriculture, industry and mining industry are growing fast in the country.

Amkodor machines are operated in over 30 countries worldwide. Amkodor represents 70 companies in Russia, 30 companies in CIS and seven firms in other states.
