Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Boxer from Uzbekistan Bektemir Melikuziev (6-0-5 KOs) defeated Mexican Alan Campa (17-6, 11 KOs) for the vacant WBO Inter-Continental middleweight title (75.6 kg) as part of a boxing show in Indio (California, USA).

The representative of Uzbekistan in the third round defeated the 28-year-old Mexican ahead of schedule.

During the fight, Campa was knocked down twice in the second round and another time in the third. After that, the bout referee decided to stop the bout.

Earlier Bektemir Melikuziev won the vacant continental title of WBA Americas.
