Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Beepul, a financial service and mobile payment app in Uzbekistan, has increased its user base by nearly 3.5 times in just one year, while the transaction volume within the app grew by 2.3 times. This dynamic growth highlights the strong demand for secure and convenient cashless payments among residents of Uzbekistan.
Beepul's revenue more than tripled in 2024, with a 2.5-fold increase over the past 12 months. Thanks to the expansion of services and favorable conditions, the active user base (MAU – monthly active users) grew by 3.5 times. In December, the service was used by 2.4 million clients.
"Throughout the past year, Beepul has been actively enhancing its functionality and expanding its partner network. We improved the app's design, stability, and security, making it more intuitive and easier to use daily. Additionally, Beepul’s functionality was integrated into the hambi app ecosystem, which is available to customers of any mobile network operator," said Anatoly Pavlinov, CEO of Beelab, which owns Beepul. "We also succeeded in integrating the most popular in-person payment methods: customers can now purchase goods and services across Uzbekistan using Beepul's own QR codes, as well as TezQR and Rahmat."
When topping up their balance through hambi and Beepul, Beeline Uzbekistan customers now receive a 25% cashback on their balance. Among the convenient services for Beepul users, the ability to purchase OSAGO insurance and open UZCARD and HUMO virtual cards directly within the application in just a few minutes has been added. Additionally, a payment acceptance platform for dealers was launched. This platform enables all Beeline Uzbekistan dealers and other agents to quickly and securely accept payments, including cash payments, and process transactions, improving the overall customer experience.
Beepul is also expanding its loyalty program: in 2025, new customers will receive welcome bonuses in the form of interest-free transfers up to 20 million sums. Furthermore, all users can accumulate BEEP points and exchange them for communication packages and free transfers.
In 2024, the Beepul mobile financial application successfully passed the organizational and technical audit under the UZCARD payment system Standard "Information Security Requirements in the UZCARD Payment System," confirming the high level of security for user transactions and data. In December 2024, Beepul ranked among the top 5 payment organizations by the number of transactions using HUMO system cards.
