Beeline’s total operational revenue hits US$500m in Jan-Sep
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Total operational revenue of the largest communication operator of Uzbekistan, Beeline, made up US$500 million in nine months of 2013, which rose by 64% year-on-year.

At the same time, total operational revenue grew by 29% year-on-year in the third quarter of 2013 to US$176 million, one of the largest providers of telecommunication services Vimpelcom (Beeline trademark) said.

EBITDA (Earnings before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) in Uzbekistan rose by 108% year-on-year – from US$157 million to US$326 million in nine months of 2013 and by 51% to US$116 million in the third quarter of 2013.

EBITDA margin rose by 13.8 percentage points to 65.3% in nine months of 2013 and 9.8 percentage points to 66% in the third quarter of 2013.

Number of Beeline subscribers in Uzbekistan made up 10.328 million people in the end of the third quarter of 2013, which rose by 12% year-on-year.

ARPU (Monthly Average Revenue per User) grew by 12% to US$6 in the third quarter of 2013. MOU (Monthly Average Minutes of Use per User) fell from 543 minutes in the third quarter of 2012 to 504 minutes in the third quarter of 2013.

Beeline increased its capital expenses by 68% year-on-year to US$159 million in January-September 2013 and by 227% to US$65 million in the third quarter of 2013.
