Beeline Uzbekistan’s subscribers base hits 8 million

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 September, Beeline Uzbekistan celebrated another birthday. By this date, the company has further strengthened his digital potential and reputation as a leader in the telecommunications industry. On the eve of its 16th anniversary, Beeline launched high-speed mobile Internet along the route of the Afrosiab trains running between Tashkent and Samarkand.

Work to further improve communication along the Afrosiab train route continues. Since the beginning of the year, the number of base stations of the company has grown by more than 1,500, and active subscribers - by 1 million people. Thus, now the services of Beeline Uzbekistan are used by more than 8 million residents of the country.

The basis of the popularity of Beeline Uzbekistan among customers is innovative digital products, which at the time of launch often have no analogues in the country. Thus, subscribers appreciated the mobile applications of Beeline Uzbekistan, Beepul, Beeline TV, Beeline Music. Paying close attention to the segmentation of the subscriber base, the operator has created "Konstruktor" tariffs that most fully meet the needs of different target audiences. The result is an impressive growth in the subscriber base of Beeline Uzbekistan.

The high quality of all operator services is guaranteed by the developed infrastructure. The total number of base stations launched by the company in Uzbekistan exceeded 14,000. The main goal is to provide all customers with high-speed mobile Internet and digital services based on it. Currently, Beeline communication covers the territory where more than 92% of the country’s population lives. 70% have the opportunity to use 4G Internet, since the beginning of 2022 this figure has increased by 8%. Modern digital services appear in the most remote areas.

Taking care of increasing the tourist attractiveness of Uzbekistan, the operator launches additional base stations in areas popular with foreign guests. In the summer of 2022, the speed of mobile Internet was increased along the route of the Afrosiab trains running between Tashkent and Samarkand. In Samarkand, communication quality has been improved near key tourist infrastructure facilities, in particular, in the newly opened Great Silk Road International Center.

The company’s support is received by the education sector of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Beeline is a partner or initiator of major events aimed at training a new generation of IT specialists, increasing the prestige of professions related to the telecom industry and information technology. This year alone, the company supported such projects as AntiHack Challenge, Tumaris.Tech, ASTRUMHACK 2022 hackathon.

The development of the company, its participation in the digitalization of the economy of Uzbekistan has a positive impact on the labor market.
