Beeline Uzbekistan starts to connect eSIMs to subscribers

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Beeline Uzbekistan continues to be focused on the transformation to a digital operator. Company subscribers are now able to get eSIMs, digital analogues of traditional SIM cards. The cards of the new type cannot be broken or lost, and the first connection for Beeline clients is free of charge.

Digital cards are the next step in the evolution of mobile devices. Manufacturers install eSIM modules (that are several times smaller than nano SIM cards) in smartphones, tablets and other gadgets that have no slots for physical cards but need to be connected to the mobile network.

“More and more devices are now using mobile Internet. For example, fitness bands that are popular all over the world. Dozens of smartphone models support eSIM although this technology is relatively new. Providing the fastest Internet in Uzbekistan*, we are thinking about what our subscribers will require tomorrow. Cards of the new type will help dive even deeper into the convenient world of digital services”, commented CEO of Beeline Uzbekistan Andrzej Malinowski.

Subscribers can connect eSIM for the first time in any office of the company free of charge by submitting an identification document. It will then be possible to replace the digital card or recover the number if the smartphone is lost, such services will be paid for using the applicable tariffs of the operator. More details about the opportunities of eSIM can be found on the company’s website.

*According to Ookla’s (the company behind Speedtest) data for the 1st half of 2021, Beeline Uzbekistan provides customers the fastest mobile internet in the country. Results of the global annual mobile internet quality research are available on Ookla’s website
