Beeline Uzbekistan refreshes its brand identity and opens opportunities

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Beeline Uzbekistan, part of VEON Group, announces the start of the brand transformation. From this moment on, the recognizable striped logo and the name familiar to millions of residents of Uzbekistan will be backed by renewed philosophy, fresh visual techniques and more exact meaning implemented in the “Beeline. With You” new slogan.

Why change?

The technologies that Beeline Uzbekistan introduces into the lives of subscribers are constantly evolving. And this triggers a change in lives and habits of millions of people. The network operator itself becomes different: traditional telecom services, calls and the Internet are now just a smaller part of what the Beeline Uzbekistan brand embodies. The ecosystem of digital services covers almost all spheres of human life: finance, entertainment, education, leisure activities and certainly communication. Customers' needs force Beeline to change from the inside. It's not a mobile network operator anymore, it's a digital operator. This means that the brand has to be refreshed, changed from the outside.

What can customers discover?

Anything they search for! Beeline Uzbekistan is constantly engaged in subscriber surveys, in-depth study of customers' preferences. Brand refreshment has been accompanied by a major effort aimed at identification of desires, obtaining feedback, testing hypotheses. This way, the company created its new image and philosophy together with customers.

Has Beeline lost its stripes?

Brand refreshment implies external changes as well as creation of a fresh modern company image. Visual communications will now contain more of the Uzbek national identity, will be closer to and easier to understand by the people of Uzbekistan. But customers are not ready to give up  all the previous brand elements.

"We have taken into account the expectations of our customers and kept the much-loved striped logo. However, the brand will also include new symbolic elements. The honesty value is supported by the transparent yellow box. Development and deployment of technologies are expressed through stairs directed upwards. The stripes don’t have to be uniquely yellow and black, but can come  in other colors from the brand's new color range, which symbolizes  diversity of the digital services. The image of stairs has been born as a result of intensive study of culture of our country and the color palette used in frescos and mosaics of historical buildings. Just have a closer look at them when you happen to be in Samarkand or Bukhara!" says Makhbuba Sadykova, Marketing Director.

Has the slogan changed? 

Clearly, brand evolution needs to be declared in a new way. Beeline Uzbekistan has done extensive work in this sphere as well and selected a common trajectory with its customers. The current strategic slogan is:

This slogan of the brand fully reflects the new company strategy. Strategy 1440.
