Beeline says it broadens roaming services
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Single communication operator Beeline (Unitel LLC and Buzton JV LLC) announced about wide-scale expansion of voice, GPRS- and CAMEL-roaming.

The document on commercial launch of voice, GPRS- and CAMEL-roaming with VIVA (KTC) was signed on 18 January.

Besides, CAMEL-roaming service are active in networks of the roaming-partners as The Bulgarian Telecommunications Company Ltd (Bulgaria) and Tele 2 Sverige AB (Sweden), and GPRS-roaming is available in network of Cellcom Israel Ltd (Israel).

Ivan Smolentsev, head of Beeline Business direction, said: “In 2010, we will continue to expand all types of roaming. Beeline is No. 1 roaming operator in the world and this obliges us to carefully pay attention to development of this direction. Our clients can be sure that they will stay in touch in majority countries of the world.”

CAMEL roaming allows to use Beeline communication services at any positive balance, in other words without guarantee fee of US$50 and till the balance of subscriber reaches US$0. At the same time, the funds will be written off in real time regime. CAMEL roaming doest not requires activation and it is automatically enabled in handsets. The service can use any individual subscribers, connected to pre-paid tariffs at any positive balance.
