Beeline receives new party of nanoSIM cards for iPhone 5
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Single communication operator Beeline (Unitel LLC and Buzton JV) received new party of nanoSIM-cards for iPhone 5 and delivered them to sales offices.
Director of sales in mass market Maksim Efremov said that Beeline is happy to resume sales of nanoSIM-cards. He said that subscribers can purchase new nanoSIM-cards at official offices in Tashkent and across Uzbekistan.
nanoSIM is approved by European Institute of Telecommunication Standards in June. The smaller SIM-card allow to save area in smartphones.
New SIM cards do not differ from previous versions. The size of nanoSIM card is 9x12 mm (against 11x22 mm of microSIM). Thickness of nanoSIM is 15% lesser.
Beeline became the first operator in Uzbekistan, which started to sell nanoSIM cards for smartphones.
