On Saturday, 31 May 2014, at one of the city’s object in Markhamat occurred fire, which affected Beeline base station located on a rented plot of the roof.

“Unfortunately, the consequences of the fire felt by even those residents of nearby districts, who had not heard about it,” commented on the event technical director of Unitel Denis Kotlyarenko.

“The fact that is the base station, almost destroyed by fire, was a hub station, so that its outage disconnected more than twenty other stations. Of course, there were immediately mobilized all possible resources, and we are making great efforts to resume operation of the equipment,” he added.
