Beeline cuts international communication prices for western Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Single communication operator Beeline (Unitel LLC and Buzton JV) introduced preferential tariffs for calls to the CIS countries for subscribers of Allo tariff plan in the Western Regional Branch of Unitel, which serves Karakalpakstan Republic and Khorezm region.

The operator said during the action period, the cost of calls to Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyz Republic and other CIS states will be only 450 soums per minute.

Abai Kolanov, director of Unitel’s Western Region, said subscribers of Karakalpakstan Republic and Khorezm region can make international calls 2.5 times cheaper.

Beeline said that the preferential tariff will be in force till 31 July 2010, after which the default costs for international calls will apply.
