Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan introduced amendments and changes to its resolution on improving the procedure for state registration and issuance of state registration plates for motor vehicles.

According to changes, from 1 July 2023, 680 state license plates with a combination of the same letters will be put up for auction.

The auction starting prices for state license plates have also been changed.

When selling a vehicle, the owner of a “beautiful” number plate can deposit it free of charge with the traffic safety authorities for 1 year. If the owner pays 1 basic estimated value (330,000 soums now), it is allowed to extend this period up to 12 months.
