Uzbekistan’s Timur Khakimov and Australian Jesse Makarounas are leading the table after the group stage with four goals each while Japan’s Takumi Minamino has three to his credit.

Khakimov scored a brace in his side’s opening 3-0 victory over Indonesia and later added two more when the hosts thrashed Tajikistan 8-1.

Makarounas netted two in their 5-0 victory over Timor Leste in the opener and he scored two goals, both from the spot, in their 3-1 victory over Vietnam.

Minamino also started with a double against Vietnam in their 6-0 rout and scored the match-winner in their 1-0 win over Timor Leste.
