The changes are introduced with the law “On introduction of changes and amendments to some legislative acts of Uzbekistan in connection with adoption of main directions of tax and budget policy for 2015”, which was signed by the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov on 4 December.

In line with the amendments to the law “On state pension provisions to the citizens”, the bas size of pension cannot be lower than minimal size of pension on age, approved by the President of Uzbekistan.

Earlier, the minimal size of pension was equal to minimal size of salary, Norma.uz underlined.

It is worth to mention that the changes will impact those people, who have low average monthly salary, which is used to calculate pensions.

The pensions at in complete experience will be calculated and paid in percentage ratio, based on minimal size of pension on age.
