Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The basic natural gas consumption limit for the heating season has been extended until 1 April 2025, the Ministry of Energy stated.

Previously, it was planned that starting from 1 March 2025, the basic gas consumption limit set for the heating season would be reduced from 500 to 100 cubic meters.

However, considering the expected cold weather in March, when temperatures may drop below 0°C on certain days, and to ensure the convenience of the population, the President has instructed that the current limit remain in place.

According to a resolution by the Cabinet of Ministers, the 500-cubic-meter limit will remain in effect until 1 April 2025.
