Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Large trading company Baraka Istithmar (Malaysia) Mr. Abdullah Yusuf Al Qadhi paid a visit to Uzbekistan.

The visit was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Malaysia and the Small Businesses’ and Private Entrepreneurship’s Export Promotion Fund under the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Abdullah Yusuf Al Qadhi held a meetings with the producers of fresh and processed fruit and vegetable products in Tashkent and Tashkent region.

Mr. Abdullah Yusuf said the high quality of Uzbek fruit and vegetable products, its price accessibility, as well as high ecological purity and excellent taste qualities.

A trip was also organized to Khorezm region, where a constructive conversation took place with the khokim of Khorezm region Mr. Farhod Ermanov and the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Bakhodir Yusupov.

The sides discussed practical issues concerning possible exports of domestic products to the Malaysian market and, in general, to the market of Southeast Asia.

The head of the Malaysian company Baraka Istithmar expressed his interest in investing in Khorezm region by creating a joint venture for producing, processing, storing and packing fruit and vegetable products with further export.
