Banks introduce limits on use of conversion cards
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Commercial bank of Uzbekistan introduced limits on use of conversion cards from 1 July 2016, internet outlet Gazeta.uz reported.

The bank introduced limit for withdrawing cash from conversion cards from ATMs at the size of US$300 a month.

KDB Bank Uzbekistan said in a statement that the measures was introduced to improve security of resources and transaction conducted with conversion cards.

The statement of the bank notes that several cases of unauthorized use of conversion cards in retail and wholesale trade points were recorded in Turkey, China and the United Arab Emirates.

In this connection, from 1 July 2016, restrictions are introduced for use of conversion cards in the terminals of wholesale and retail trade points in these countries. However, the cards can be used to pay for hotels, meals, medical services and tuition fees.
